One for the Yearbook

A table top pen and paper dice game, One for the Yearbook was produced in my first team on my MA course. We were tasked with creating a table top paper game with an emphasis on replayability. We were given one week to create this game.

Set during the final week of the school year, you most do all you can to make it into the yearbook. The only problem is, no one knows who you are.

Are you a nobody, a class clown, a kind hearted person, or the most popular in the school? Find out in this exciting table top game.

My Contributions

  • Coming up with the concept of the game.

  • Aiding in the design of the rules.

  • Overall game design.

  • Pitching my ideas to the group (another person in my group had a strong idea for this project, but I noticed it lacked the replayability, so we decided that the two of us would pitch our ideas and the rest of the team would choose their favourite.

  • Writing the events, personalities, lessons, and final score result outcomes.

  • Drew the kanji 学校 (gakkō) which translates to school.

  • Attending regular meetings throughout the project.
